This policy explains how the SafePass Ready mobile app handles information. SafePass Ready is an independent study tool for construction safety awareness learners in Ireland.
The app stores study progress, answers, bookmarks, mock-exam history, daily usage allowance, language, selected county and other preferences on your device. Core features do not require an account, and we do not operate a server that stores your study progress.
SafePass Ready is free and uses Google Mobile Ads to show banner, interstitial and optional rewarded advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process IP address, advertising identifiers, consent choices, device and network information, diagnostics, approximate location derived from network information, and ad-impression or interaction data to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Where required, the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to ask for advertising consent. A separate “Manage privacy choices” control is available in the app when Google requires it, so an eligible user can change or withdraw that choice. Declining consent, an ad failure or no available ad does not prevent the core study experience.
The app does not request device location. Weather is optional: the app downloads the latest Met Éireann observations feed, then uses the selected Irish county’s fixed coordinates on your device to choose a nearby station with a complete temperature and wind reading. The county coordinates and station choice remain on your device and are not sent to Met Éireann. Like any network request, Met Éireann may receive standard connection information such as an IP address.

SafePass Ready modifies the source by selecting a nearby station, mapping descriptive conditions and converting wind speed from knots to kilometres per hour.
If you contact us, we receive the email address and content you voluntarily send. We use it only to respond to your request.
We do not sell personal information. Advertising information is handled by Google and its partners as described above. Local app data remains until you reset progress in the app or uninstall it. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain support records.
SafePass Ready is intended for construction safety awareness learners and is not directed to children.
